Dan Regan

Crusader 1971 - Dedicated to Dan Regan

In July 1952, Mr. Daniel Regan came to work at De La Salle Academy.  That was 19 years ago.  Today, Dan, as he is known around the school, is still with us.

Dan is probably the most unforgettable character anyone has met a De La Salle.  In the Fall, as the cold of winter approaches, Dan is often seen with his familiar rake and cart loading and burning leaves.

During the Basketball season, he is forever opening and closing the bleachers in addition to sweeping the playing floor clean of all litter.

With the Coming of Spring, Dan is usually riding his lawnmower, cutting the grounds about the school.  He has also taken it upon himself to chase away anyone who is foolish enough to trespass on the lawns.

For the many Masses and assemblies Dan is always there setting up and putting away the chairs.

With the closing of De La Salle in the coming year, Mr. Regan will be leaving the school shortly, so to this unselfish and hard-working man, we dedicate our yearbook, Crusader '71.
